Lesson #64
Utilizing “Pig Out” Days
by Jim Katsoulis
Introduction
Often people get obsessed with trying to stop themselves from overeating or eating the “wrong” foods. One negative side effect of constantly repressing yourself is the development of a rebellious part of you that can sabotage your efforts.
One way to deal with this is to use “pig out” days where you allow yourself to eat anything (and as much) as you want. Obviously, these days need to be occasional, but they can be very enlightening. It’s a fun experiment to do because for one you’ll get to relax about food for the day and there is a very good chance you’ll find out some foods you’d been craving weren’t as enjoyable as you expected.
