Eliminating Emotional Eating

Introduction
As soon as you eliminate your routine emotional eating habits, permanent weight loss is practically guaranteed. And the good news is that it’s pretty easy to do.
You start by understanding that there are WAY better options for getting the emotional satisfaction you’re craving than overeating and over consuming food.
Next, follow this 4 Step Plan for Eliminating Emotional Eating
1. Identify your routine emotional eating habits (when do they happen, where, who’s around, what foods, etc.)
2. Identify what emotions you’re trying to feel through these routines (excitement, entertainment, relaxation, reward, indulgence) and/or identify the emotions you’re trying to distract yourself from (boredom, stress, loneliness, frustration, etc.)
3.Brainstorm some new and improved ways to experience the emotions you want that don’t involve food (hike, take a class, do yoga, etc.)
4.Put those new plans into action and test and tweak them until they become automatic.
