The challenge of recognizing these patterns and triggers is that we become so used to them that we often don&#8217;t notice them anymore. It&#8217;s up to you to take some time and reflect on your habitual emotions throughout the day, weeks and months. Once you recognize the different times, places, people, etc. that trigger harmful emotions you can work on changing them into more helpful responses.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that you are in control of your responses. You can always drop your shoulders, let go of your muscles and take a deep breath to relax and calm yourself down more.
